Earlier today, Ars Technica reported that the
official release of Firefox 1.5 was imminent - within hours. Now it appears that some vexing server-side bugs have led
the Mozilla Organization to delay the release for a few days. An RC3 release may even be made prior to the official
release.
This kind of caution is welcome, especially after a few missteps recently in the 1.0.X releases. I've been using the
RC2 version since its release and, despite breaking some extensions I'm struggling without , the speed and stability
improvements are impressive.
