In an ongoing effort to provide gadget freaks everywhere with their daily dose of news about cool new stuff, the Engadget team has just announced Engadget Spanish which joins the Chinese and Japanese versions. The march toward global gadget domination continues.
UPDATE: Jason provides his thinking behind extending the Engadget brand in a post on his blog. Here's a snippet:
"My thinking on this was that we're building CNN, not just a blog. We'll have breaking gadget news from across four
continents and languages—with correspondents in six or seven countries!
Now we're starting to look more like a Reuters or AP, not just About.com (not that there is anything wrong with being
About.com… I wish we had 400 bloggers, but I'm happy with 106 after 18 months)."
