Peter Rojas announced on Engadget today that Weblogs, Inc. has just added trackbacks to all of our blogs. As I'm at
Microsoft, between meetings, and rushing around like a crazy tourist with Jeremy Wright, I'll just quote Peter's
explanation of our newest feature:
"You may have noticed that we've just added something called "Linking Blogs" to the end of every post. We're
shamelessly ripping this off from Boing Boing, but basically that link is way for you to see, courtesy of Technorati,
what other sites are commenting on that specific post. We've been reluctant to add trackbacks because of all the spam
problems we've seen on other sites, but we figured this would be a good way to get everyone else in on the
conversation. We're going to try integrating other services (like Feedster, Digg, Del.icio.us, etc.) as well, so if you
have any suggestions about how we can make this better, let us know in the comments."
Yes... we have trackbacks!

(Page 1)2. That's a pretty nice way of adding Trackbacks to systems that don't support them natively. I couldn't resist doing the same with my blog. Thanks for the hint.

3. Engadget's decision wouldn't happen to have anything to do with my open letter to Jason Calacanis, would it? Or am I being egotistical? Either way, you can read my letter and Jason's response in the comments: http://www.mostlymuppet.com/archives/2005/05/28/an-open-letter-to-jason-calacanis/
