The
Mozilla Organization has released Firefox 1.0.4 which addresses
two highly publicized vulnerabilities related to JavaScript and automatic software installation.
The installation process continues to work smoothly, as with 1.0.3. A number of posters on the community discussion forum have recommended using MozBackup to create a copy of your profile in the event something should go badly during the updgrade. This is excellent advice, of course. MozBackup is a free utility that quickly backs up and restores your Firefox settings and bookmarks.
