John Dvorak explains how to read a blog. It's actually pretty good. I'm going to test it out on a few friends who still don't "get it" and see if it helps.

Actually, what I was trying to say is that your primer was one of, if not the best attempt at explaining blogs to newbies I've seen yet. It's a hard concept to get across to the uninitiated.
You might want to take a look at Jon Udell's blog over at InfoWorld. He has a post based on his column in the 12/13/04 issue that uses a
neural or computer network metaphor to explain the ecosystem of the blogosphere (ack! I can't believe I actually wrote that!).
