A new beta release of EverNote, the promising, ink-enabled note and information manager I wrote about a few weeks ago has been released. A number of critical features have been added, making this tool more practical for everyday use (especially printing). Here's the list of what's new.
New Features in v.1.00.3.62
* Email: Users can now email one or more selected notes to any email recipient using Outlook 2000/XP/2003 and Outlook Express.
* Printing: Users can now Print Preview and Print all note types except for Template notes. (Template notes will be printable in the next Beta release.)
* Delete/Undelete: Users can now delete and undelete notes by right-clicking in the Note Bar.
* Links to all file types: Users can now drag & drop any files from the File Explorer, which creates a link to the files in EverNote; and all Go to source>> links to files now show file name and file extension
* Customer Feedback: Added a customer feedback request during Uninstall
* Ink Tools: In ink notes, the number of Thickness buttons has been increased from 5 to 6
* Tools Options: Two new Tools>Options>General options have been added: "Check for updated version of the program upon start" and "Position new note at the bottom of tape"
* New Category Options: A New Category option has been added: "Are notes with specified content" (Snapshots, Photo images, and File Links)
