This is a great idea. Add calendar events you want to share with friends, family, or co-workers and publish them in a custom RSS feed. Check out RSSCalendar.com for details.
RSSCalendar lets users quickly setup online calendars that can be syndicated as RSS feeds. With RSSCalendar, you will be able to:
* Share your RSS calendar in real-time with unlimited users
* Create RSS feeds that show your calendar by day, week, or month
* Invite individuals or groups to subscribe to your RSS Calendar
* Create calendar events your subscribers can import into Outlook
* Bypass problems with firewalls and SPAM filters.

1. I realize RSS allows an aggregator to hunt for updates regularly, but I don't really need the calendar downloaded to MY system. A simple link to the calendar when I want to read it is "good enough". If the calendar is iCalendar (RFC 2445) based, or can link to iCalendar files for the events even better.. when I _want_ to add it to my local calendar, I open it from their site and it opens in Outlook (iCal, Mozilla, or other apps which have a handler for opening ".ics" extension files). That's enough for me...
